On Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, the Digger Dog program along with City of Buford Gas visited the 2nd grade at Buford Academy in Buford, GA! Digger and Ms. Maria showed them what natural gas sounds like when it is coming out of the ground. If someone digging doesn’t “Call 811” and they hit a natural gas line, there would be gas escaping all over the place. They explained that natural gas is highly flammable, so if someone were to come by and light a match, there could be a fire, explosion, someone could get hurt or even killed!
