On Monday, March 14, 2016, Digger Dog was spreading the word to “Call 811 before you dig” to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grades at Savannah Christian Preparatory Academy in Savannah, GA. He told them that each utility has its own color, so we know what is buried under the ground before we dig. Blue is for water, green is for sewer, yellow is for natural gas, red is for electricity, orange is for telecommunications and white is the dig site!
