On Thursday, April 21, 2016, the Digger Dog show along with City of Thomasville Utilities visited the 3rd grade at Cross Creek Elementary School in Thomasville, Ga. He told them that Natural Gas is naturally odorless, so the gas companies like City of Thomasville Utilities put an odor into it so that we can smell it when it is escaping. The chemical is called mercaptan that smells like a “rotten egg”!
